From Salt Lake City to Denver in 3 days
Once, I had a choice to either fly from Salt Lake City to Denver (from one business meeting to the next) or drive. Well I had two and a half days, fair enough, I thought. So, I picked my route:
- Start in Salt Lake City on Friday late morning
- Bryce Canyon
- Zion National Park
- Las Vegas
- Hoover Dam
- Grand Canyon
- Monument Valley
- Arches National Park
- Arriving at Denver late night on Sunday
You can imagine, that basically I was only driving, a total of 2100mls, just stopping for food, gas and taking photographs. The one photograph you see on the right side is my absolute favorite. As for all the driving: well, I guess I just wanted to see as much as I could and totally underestimated distances. I wanted to come back later to the most exciting places ... which I have yet to do!
