I have gathered scientific evidence that, against other publicly stated
opinions, Diet Pepsi does NOT clean cast aluminium better that
Diet Coke. In fact, none of them cleans it all!
The tests have
been performed in an approved high tech laboratory, supervised by
the AFSCCCP (Agency for the supervision of competitive comparisons
between CocaCola and Pepsi). Both "products" were penetrating the
object for 12hrs before removal. The objects were rinsed
using a standard biodegradable degreaser.
No animals or humans were harmed in this series of tests. The testers
were encouraged to consume the softdrinks (as the objects were
not clean, the softdrink could not have been decontaminated) but
regretfully declined. This however did not influence the overall
decision of the laboratory personal.
