BMW R50/5, Reg'ed TBK197J, first registration 01/03/1971 in Germany (matching
chassis/engine no. 2902652)
- a classic, only 7.865 built between 1969-1973
- excellent unrestored condition for year
- well suited for everyday use, kickstarts first time even at minus degree
- 90.046 km (55.964mls) in March 2003
- Previous Owner history: Police Service (1971-1981*0-51.000km), my father
(1981-2002*51.000-88.000), me from 2002 to 2003

Extras:
- Optional Starter fitted (definitely working, but not usable as Battery
with 16Ah too small, needs at least 25Ah)
- new rear tyre (Bridgestone BT45)
- front tyre tube replaced & wheel balanced
- new Bosch solid state Voltage Regulator
- new Hella solid state Flasher Unit
- new Stainless Steel KEIHAN bullet-end /5 silencer (manufacturer's
guarantee until 03/03/2013)
- recent grand service with a few bits and pieces replaced
- short handlebars fitted
- touring handlebars with original BMW fairing included (see picture below)
- Hepco & Becker (Krauser) luggage frames and panniers included, but
currently not fitted (see picture below)
- rear original BMW mudguard included, but currently not fitted
- original BMW tool kit with airpump
- original BMW workmanual and parts catalog (blue binder)
- various original magazines (German/English) from 1969 onwards dealing with
the R50/5 or all /5s
